LKA Championship Show

Lovely day at the last show of the year and very happy with how the two young boys showed.
Hunter was 2nd out of 10 in MPD, Loki who showed superbly 2nd in Junior and Post Graduate, Joker was 4th In open and Rufus who was not focused at all today won Veteran Dog and Good Citizen Dog.
So pleased with the two youngsters thought and all the lovely comments they got form ringside!
Now to start planning 2017!

Interesting day at this show with Hunter once again taking BPIB and then Puppy Group 3

Spire Toy Dog

Super day again with Hunter winning a very large Junior Class and BPIB under breed specialist Sue Leach and then being shortlisted to the final 8 for BPIS under Irene Robb. In the breed Joker also won open and BOB and Loki was 2nd in Post Graduate so good day all round!

East Kent Canine Society

Super day at this lovely show with Hunter being the star of the day winning Junior, BPIB, BOB, Adult Group 4 and then topping the Puppy Group!  Joker won Open and Loki won Post Graduate so we were thrilled to do so well in such a big entry of cresteds! Thanks to judge Sally Pointon!

Chinese Crested Club of Great Britain

Lovely day at this club show with the highlight being Joker winning RBD and Klasi winning BVIS under breed specialist Trevor Loader. All boys showed well and were placed and we have a lovely day!

SWKA Championship Show

Lovely sunny day in Wales making the journey there are make pleasant and wow what a day!
Hunter at his first show at just 6 months won MPD from 8 puppies, then also PD making him BPD and then only went and got the RCC!!  To say we are over the moon is an understatement. He showed his little heart out and never stopped wagging his tail the entire time!
Not to be outshone Joker won a strong LD class and then won Yearling Stakes under Liz Stannard and PAT Stakes under Barrie Croft qualifying him for the Crufts Show Dog of the Year Final!
Loki was 3rd in Post Graduate but no so focused on the job today but had fun nonetheless!
Huge thanks to our judge Breed speciality Irene Jennings for thinking so highly of Hunter and Joker and for the lovely cards!

Driffield Championship Show

Chilly day at this show and took Hunter for a day out and he LOVED it!  Very excited to get this boy in the ring.  Our Judge was Carolyn Roe who was giving out CCs for the first time and Loki was 3rd in Yearling and Joker 2nd in his first open class behind the CC winner so not a bad day!
Did our usual annual photo shoot with Kate Bryson piloting the Iphone and got some crackers again so thrilled to bits!

Bedford DCS

Fun day at this show with plenty of laughs with friends
In the breed Loki won Junior and then Joker won a strong Open class and BOB under Carol Lees.  He then went on to take Toy Group 2 under breed specialist Margaret Kempster.  Klasi also won AV Toy Veteran under this judge so nice day all round.

Sheringham DCS Open Show

Nice day at this open show with nice atmosphere and good fun chatting with friends.  Loki won Junior and BOB under Janice Bannister and then Toy Group 4 under Julia Pennington. Monkey won Post Graduate and Joker won Open and then RBOB and then they had a RBOB Group which he won!

City of Birmingham Championship Show

Really super day at this show that we are thrilled with!
Loki knuckled down and showed superbly with not looning on the move and not only won his class but took the RCC in a very strong line up!  Joker was second in Limit and Kiddy 2nd in Open behind the BOB winner but the other star of the day was Klasi won won VD, BVIB and then 2nd in the Veteran Group!  He has only been shown 3 times in veteran and as a Group 1, Group 2 and Group 4 so we are super happy hes still got what it takes!  Big thanks to breed judge Liz Cartledge and group Judge Robin Newhouse!
Joker as got a VHC in a strong Junior Stakes class under Meg Purnell-Carpenter so great way to finish the day!

European Dog Show - Brussels

We made the trip to Brussels with Kerry Grange of Kojiki and had a very hot buy fun filled weekend in Brussels.
The show was a great experience and we enjoyed it very much.  Loki was graded Excellent and placed 3rd in a very strong Junior class where only 4 dogs got this grade and Kiddy was a bit glamorous for the judge and unplaced in Champion Class.
The trip had an added bonus in that we collected a surprise new addiotn to the family and came home with Hunter - Estillinis The Huntsman. Hes a cracking little puppy who  we are very excited about as has superb construction and movement for his head and a crazy personality to fit right in with us! Big thanks to Mireille for letting him come live with us and all you did to make this happen!

Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show

Well having realised id entered dogs this judge was unlikely to appreciate and not entered the ones she has always likes I decided to go anyway.  Loki was 3rd in Post Graduate, Kiddy Reserve in open and Joker 2nd in Limit. Judge was Zena Thorn-Andrews.
Next time I will remember to pay more attention when entering and enter the judges type even if the dogs are not my best lol

Bournemouth Championship Show

Another long journey and day today but well worth it. under judge Margaret Boulcott.
Loki was pulled first in his class but got bored waiting around for a latecomer so was moved to second, Kiddy was 2nd in Open but the star of the day was little Joker who won his 4th out of 5 limits and the RCC at just 17th months of age. He now has 1CC and 2 RCC and we are super proud of him!

Paignton Championship Dog Show

Long drive south for this show but nice to have a day out with the husband!
Not a bad day in all though, in the breed Loki won his class, Joker 2nd in Limit and Klasi 2nd in Open with Kiddy one place behind in 3rd. The judge was Mark Cocozza.
In the stakes Klasi won a  lovely Veteran Stakes class under Gordon Haran and then third in GC stakes under Stuart Mallard and Loki was 4th in Junior Stakes under Dr Ron James.

Chinese Crested Dog Club Championship Show

Lovely sunny day at this show and very pleased with the results showing boys that only get out once or twice a year.
Leibwache Rufus Ruffcut won a strong Open Dog class and then the Ch Kivox Wrenn Memorial Open Stakes for the second year running, and his best buddy Leibwache Nothing But Nitro won Mid Limit Dog. To top the day off my heart dog Ziggy was 3rd in a large Veteran Dog class behind to champions so really thrilled with the boys results and thanks to judge Bruce Jackson for liking them.

Leeds Championship Show

Leeds greeted us with a beautiful sunny day and we had a superb show.
Loki - Twice As Nice Seven Monkey Fury (Imp SWE) won Junior and showed his best yet on grass where he is usually way too over exhuberant lol - see video below
Joker - Let Me Be The One Of Angel's Legacy As Casacavallo (Imp NLD) won a very strong limit class which are thrilled about.  He is still only 15 months old, has only been shown in Limit 3 times and won every one of them, one with a CC and one with a RCC also.
Kiddy was very hyper which gave him a second in open and Klasi won Veteran.
The challenge certainly proved challenging as all my boys are mummies boys and despite the able assistance of Kate and Kerry to help  me, all three dogs did not show their best and I certainly picked the wrong one to handle as Klasi got considered for the CC but lost it on the last go around.  Disappointed the judge didn't ask me to swap dogs so a lesson learnt for the future for sure!
However Klasi did win BVIB and then rose to the occasion in the group and Topped the toy group under Ernie Patterson so we are still beyond over the moon with this massive accomplishment!

East of England Championship Show

Lovely day at our local Champ show, so we decided to take 5 dogs.  Loki was 3rd in a very strong Junior class and showed much better without being on grass!  We had two dogs in limit with Monkey coming 3rd and Qualifying for Crufts 2017 and then Joker winning the class and taking the RCC which we are thrilled about.  He has only been shown in limit twice and has 1CC and 1 RCC from this class!  Kiddy was 2nd in Open and then Klasi won Veteran, BVIP and then Toy Veteran Group 4.  We were so thrilled with this as had a goal of a veteran group place this year and he nailed it at his first time back in the ring, in his first veteran!  Huge thanks to breed judge Jill Peak and also Veteran Judge Sue Bird!
Super day for us and only 5 mins home!

Three Counties

Very wet day, so we ended up showing inside which was a shame.  Loki was 2nd in his last puppy class, Joker 2nd in Junior behind a Champion and then Kiddy was 2nd in Open and took the RCC under Andreas Schemel so we are very pleased with the results of the day!

Bath Championship Show

Another unbelievable day at what is my very favourite show!
It was the first show outside show of the year that the weather had allowed us to be on the wonderful bowling green grass that this committee admirably maintain.  We were third to be judged so it meant for a long day but there was a great atmosphere out in the sun.  Loki came second in Puppy and was somewhat distracted and over exuberant for his first time showing on grass just wanting to play or run lol Joker showed lovely in a strong junior class and came first and the star once again was Kiddy who showed his socks off, won open , the DCC and then BOB!  We are soo thrilled at how well this young man has done and are deeply grateful to judge Tom Mather for recognising his qualities.
A lovely day had and made the long drive both ways more than worth it!
Kiddy now has 4 CC all with BOB and 4 RCC and is yes to turn 2 and a half!

WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION! (Subject to KC Verification)

Just Kidding of Angel's Legacy At Casacavallo JW ShCM  won his 3rd CC from Open Dog today under Zola Rawson giving him his crown.

He gained his first CC with BOB at East of England Last year under Stephen Bardwell and was shortlisted in the group by Zola Rawson
His Second CC with BOB came at Manchester this year under Martin Freeman
and today his third also with BOB

We are so on cloud nine and so proud of this young man who is not yet two and half years old.

WELKS Championship Show

WOW!  What an amazing day!  Joker - Let Me Be The One Of Angel's Legacy At Casacavallo (Imp NLD) won his very first limit class in a super strong class and then went on to take the CC at jsut 13 months of age.  As if that was not enough of a wow, Loki - Twice as Nice Seven Monkey Fury (Imp SWE) who Puppy Dog took the RCC and then BPIB!  Massive thanks to judge Liz Stannard for thinking so highly of our boys, we are just on cloud 9 at having our best day ever in the show ring!
Completely overwhelmed and so very very proud of these lovely young men and how happy they are in the ring!

Chinese Crested Dog Club Open Show

Also love a club show as great atmosphere and a lot of fun!  Loki was 2nd in Puppy behind the RBIS winner, Ziggy was 2nd in Veteran, Rufus was 3rd in Open, Sparkie and Monkey got Reserves, but the little star today was cheeky chappy Joker who won Junior and then RBD.
Big thanks to breed specialist Elsie Moyes, we are thrilled!

 The AGM took place after the show and I was very honoured and humbled to have been elected as Chairman of the Club. I hope I can do as good a job as my predecessors and will certainly do all I can for this beautiful and precious breed that I love so much.

UK Toy Championship Show

Super day at this show with Loki winning BPIB under breed specialist Lisa McKenzie.  We are so thrilled with this win as such an honour under such a well regarded judge so big thank you!
Joker came along too and showed well to take 2nd in Graduate. Really lovely day!

Herts & Essex Open Show

Lovely day in great company and this nice and local show.  Boys all did great again with Loki being the star again winning Junior, BPIB, BOB, PG2 and G4 under top judge Ron James.  Kiddy won open and was RBOB and Joker won Post Graduate all in good competition.  Ziggy also came for the day out and was 3rd in AV Toy Veteran so good day all round!

Crufts 2016

Well after just two hours sleep we made Crufts although Im not sure I was there as much in mind as in body :)
All the boys showed well although Loki was somewhat of a wild child and had then had enough by the challenge but he still won his class - MPD and then Joker was 3rd in his - PD, Ziggy came VHC in Veteran and Klasi won GCD. So good day all round
We returned the following day for the PAT Show Dog of The Year Final with Kiddy and Rufus and both showed well but no win this year.
Had a great time shopping and chatting with friends though!

Cheltenham & District Dog Show

A lovely day with Ziggy - Konishiki All That Jazz, making an appearance and winning AV Toy Veteran under Julie Baldwin and getting to strut his stuff in the BIS ring!
The star in the breed today though was Joker - Let Me Be The One Of Angel's Legacy At Casacavallo (Imp NLD) who won Post Graduate and then BPIB and BOB!  He has so far won every PG he has competed in and still a puppy so we are very pleased with him!

Newark Canine Society Open Show

Super day at this show, which we nearly didnt go to!
Breed judge was Andrew Leonard (Witchstone) and in good company he awared Loki - Twice as Nice Seven Monkey Fury (Imp SWE) who I co own with Sanna Wrisnig, 1st in Junior, BPIB & RBOB and then Puppy Group 3.  Then Joker - Let Me Be The One Of Angel's Legacy At Casacavallo (Imp NLD) won Post Graduate and Kiddy - Just Kidding Of Angel's Legacy At Casacavallo JW ShCm (Imp NLD) won Open, BOB and then Topped the Toy group!
Loki also won puppy dog stakes under Gavin Robertson so we were really thrilled with them!

Boston Championship Show 2016

Today was a simply amazing day for us and a phenomenal way to start the year.

In the breed from an entry of 62 with 11 absent on the day, under Dawn Russell all our boys had a great day.

In Puppy dog Twice As Nice Seven Monkey Fury (Imp Swe) Co Owned with Sanna Wrisnig was 1st and then went on to get RBD and Qualify for Crufts.

In Junior, and pictured, Let Me Be The One Of Angel's Legacy As Casacavallo (Imp NLD) was 1st and then went on to get BPD and BP and then BPIB and BOB!!! Wow! and only 9 months old still!

In Post Graduate it was a momentous day with Keep in Touch Of Angel's Legacy At Casacavallo making his return to the ring after a year out following surgery.  He gained permission to show finally in mid December and were delighted to be able to show this very special boy again.  He hadn't forgotten a thing and was the same cocky, cheeky little chappy he always has been and shoed his socks off to gain a second and qualify for Crufts. He also did great in Yearling Stakes under Tim Ball where he came 3rd out of 14 present dogs. Just so happy!

In Open Just Kidding Of Angel's Legacy At Casacavallo JW ShCM, was 2nd and then in Open stakes he came 1st and bagged some prize money which was lovely!

Just an amazing day all round and makes all the hard work worthwhile.  Big thank you to all the judges and also to the people who came over to comment on our dogs.
