UK Toy Championship Show & Chinese Crested Dog Club Open Show

What a super day! Two Boys shows at the champ show - Joker was was Reserve in Open, but our start after 5 months out of the ring was Surfer - Estillins Silver Surfer At Casacavallo JW (Imp SWE) who won Open dog and then took his 4th RCC  under breed specialist Margaret Kempster.  We are so pleased with how this boy is coming on and how well he has done with such limited showing and only just turned 2.

Not to be outdone, and just showing at the Open Show today, Niilo - Arte Figure Next Level At Casacavallo (Imp FIN) won Junior and Yearling and then was awarded Best Dog and finally BEST IN SHOW! This is a win that means so much to us as our judge was from the famous Prefix kennel; breed specialist Rebecca Agronius, so we will cherish it forever and the wonder plaque we won as a prize.
Nillo also gained his last point for his JW as we have not attended many open shows with him so we are also pleased he has this.

Niilo has been shown 5 times so far this year starting his Junior career with a bang winning
BOB at Boston under Brian Rix
DCC at Manchester under David Guy
Top Puppy in the Chinese Crested Dog Club Contest of Winners
RCC at Crufts under Lee Cox
BIS at Chinese Crested Dog Club Open Show under Rebecca Agronius

To say we are over the moon is an understatement!

Crufts

They say dreams come true and today they did!  Not only did Hunter win Limit Dog and Nillo Junior Dog which was thrilling enough under highly respected breed specialist Lee Cox, Niilo only went and won the RCC!!!!!!!!  It was a massive honour to take this award at Crufts but from Lee Cox even more so and our entry today was full of the best dogs in the world so it really was a massive wow for us.  The icing on the cake was Niilo's mum Kaya winning the BCC so a great day for Arte Figure!
Will never ever forget this day and am forever grateful to so many people for this amazing win! xx

Lovely day at the contest of winners under respected breed specialist Louise Turley of Liddyleaze.
First up was Rufus who had qualified for Top veteran and made the semi finals today, then we had 4 dogs in Top Dog - Loki, Joker, Surfer and Hunter with Hunter making the semi finals also.  Star of the day though was Niilo who won Top Puppy which we are thrilled with!

Manchester Championship Show

Today we took three boys - Loki and Joker both in open and on 2 CCs so I had Kate Bryson help me with Mr Cheeky Chops Joker and then Niilo.  Joker was 2nd in Open and Loki 3rd and both showed so well but the star of the day was once again Niilo who won Junior and then was awarded the DCC by our judge David Guy! Just so thrilled with how he performs and still just 14 months!  Really are on cloud 9!

Boston Championship Show

After a couple of months off the boys due t my having major surgery we were delighted to back in the show ring at the one show that is on our doorstep.  Both boys showed their socks off and were super happy to be back doing what they love with Hunter winning Open and RBD, but the star being Niilo, fresh out of puppy class winning Junior and then BD and BOB under Brian Rix.
To say we are delighted is an understatement!

Walsall DCS

What a loooong day!  In the breed under Tracey McGowan Niilo Won Junior and BPIB and then Hunter won open and BOB and then Group 3 :) Neither boys liked the slippy floor so might have to miss this venue in the future sadly :(
Oh and I forgot Roofie was 2nd in a strong AV Toy Veteran under Lynn Crane!

Midland Counties Championship Show

Mixed day today!  Niilo managed to leap off a bank and land flat on his face when we arrived so scuff his chin and both from joints which was a bad start :( he  however wasnt phased and won Junior dog and was 2nd in Puppy.  Surfer won Post graduate, Hunter was 3rd In Limit and Loki finding the ring just too small was reserve in a super strong Open Class.
Our Judge today was Albert Wight
